Everything mildly interesting in my life comes from NPR or Neatorama.
That's not entirely true, but the other interesting things that tend to happen to me are all protected under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. So, here are a few of the more interesting things I've seen lately:
10 Awful Words and the People They’re Named For. Ever wonder where the words dunce, boycott, and chauvinism came from? Makes me wonder what the word Hillman could one day be used for. Most likely some sort of intestinal disorder.
Boot camp for teens addicted to the internet. That's right, I'm blogging about it. On the internet.
Anti-advertising advertisements. This is an irony I can get behind.
Geography trivia game. The most fun you can have realizing how geographically illiterate you are.
A study that shows that not making our beds could be keeping us healthy. Score 1 for cluttered people everywhere!
